This is made worse by the fact that with better gear the paying player has more health, does more damage, takes less damage, and has power-ups that aid in their ability to find and eliminate the opponent. This short sighted model results in an uneven playing field and difficult to enjoy for newcomers. Weapons and armor can be upgraded, with the more powerful items being purchase only. It does not try to hide that it is a pay to win model. However, the multiplayer aspect, a big portion of the game, is the main reason why I cannot recommend MC5. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour and 2014s Modern Combat 5: Blackout. ![]() A basic FPS with a decent campaign story filled with a variety of missions, locations, and weapons. Fully developing gameplay features or art benchmarks to valid design pitches.
